Gender in ALE Toolkit

What is the Gender Toolkit?

The Gender Toolkit is an easy-to-use guide consisting of knowledge, practices, activities and concrete methods which are useful for tackling gender and women’s questions in and through adult learning and education (ALE) at the micro, meso and macro levels. It is based on the actual experiences of almost 50 stakeholders active in ALE in Jordan, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia, and introduces the practical tools that address some of the most pressing challenges faced by these stakeholders in integrating gender issues in ALE.

Who can use the Gender Toolkit?

This Toolkit speaks to all professionals working in ALE, but also to policymakers who are concerned with the equality of women and men with regard to adult education.
