Besides literacy, numeracy and vocational skills the soft called soft skills gain more and more importance for youth and adults worldwide. Competencies in decision making, leadership or teamwork are essential not only to be or stay competitive in the world of work, but for active participation in the society as well. In the framework of a regional training program on soft skills in Southeast Asia, our partner PRIA India developed a training manual for using the concept of Soft skills in non-formal education. The manual is available for download in English already, translations into Khmer, Lao and Vietnamese are planned for the nearest future.
