Convention for education, culture, and science in Morocco

We are thrilled to announce the signing of a convention between DVV International Morocco and the National Commission for Education, Science, and Culture on May 23, 2023.

The main objectives of this Partnership Agreement are to leverage the knowledge and expertise of DVV International in education, science, and culture, and to make it available to the National Commission and its partners. This collaboration aims to foster a continuous exchange of ideas and experience in the field of adult education. Furthermore, the agreement seeks to support the National Commission in launching an African Alliance of Learning Cities. Capacity-building programs for teams from member cities of the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities and for cities applying for membership are to be nurtured. The agreement also aims to establish a mentoring and support program specifically tailored for candidate cities. This program shall provide guidance and assistance throughout the journey of the candidates toward becoming learning cities.

Under the supervision of the Minister of Education, who is also the President of the National Commission, this convention marks the beginning of a promising collaboration. Our shared objective is to strengthen efforts in the fields of education, culture, and science within the learning cities. Together, we aspire to create inclusive, dynamic, and sustainable educational environments for local communities. This collaboration will enable us to implement innovative programs, exchange expertise, and form strong partnerships among stakeholders in education, culture, and science. We will place particular emphasis on lifelong learning, equal access to education, and the promotion of innovative educational practices. By joining forces, we firmly believe that we can impact the educational and cultural landscape of Morocco and thus contribute to the sustainable development of society.
