Looking back at the last six years of work by DVV International
With commitment and conviction, DVV International and its partners advocate for education worldwide - successfully! The report offers a reflection on projects and regional operations from 14 countries, as well as on the impact of programmes such as Global Learning in the German Adult Education Centres.
The results and impacts present the broad range of our work, from the needs-based adult learning opportunities for the direct target groups through to the level of policy and legislation, where we provide advice towards improved conditions for lifelong learning worldwide. The concrete impact of our work is visible, for example, in the strengthened social status of senior citizens in Belarusian society on the basis of many diverse educational opportunities for those in their Golden Years. Other examples are the affirmation of quality in adult education in Central Asia through the further education and training of the teaching staff as well as the commitment to implement Agenda 2030 through lobbying, with its partners all around the world.
